Off to Dubai for Babymoon #2 and Toby's Award

Today is my husbands birthday and we are hopping on a plane to Dubai. Happy 30th freakin' birthday. I am 25 weeks pregnant and loving life! Let's get this 14 hour flight going!

Here are some fun facts about our trip to Dubai...

Dubai is a bit dusty!

Gold Souk is actually just a dirty street with hundreds of shops that sell, among other things,  gold jewelry.

Falconry is an art in Dubai.

All of these buildings are TALLER than the tallest building in OKC.

It takes less than 2 minutes to travel to the top of the Burj Khalifa. Talk about zero to 60....

I became obsessed with henna after our trip and quickly ordered my own kit once we git home.

The Burj Al Arab (aka sailboat building) is the only 7 star hotel in the world.

Staying at Jumeirah Beach Hotel gives you some pretty sweet views and activities for literally 1/8 the price.

Paying for tours where they say they will take you places, sometimes mean they will just take you near enough to take a photo from across the street.

The Dubai Museum has great history! Allot at least 2 hours here if you want to fully read everything AND battle the human foot traffic.

We were 25 weeks preggo and visited in September... AKA it was HOT and I was still happy as can be!
